This garden is a masterpiece of landscape design and a natural showcase for tropical plants, featuring scenic views of towering rainforest trees, golden bamboo, a cut-flower garden and waterfalls.
This lush garden on Kauai's north shore is situated in a tropical valley, overlooking the ocean and Makana Mountain. Sights include lava rock terraces built by ancient Hawaiians to cultivate taro.
Situated in the lush Lawai Valley, this garden contains the world's largest ex situ collection of native Hawaiian plants. Many threatened, rare and endangered tropical plants from around the globe can be viewed here.
Over the years this garden has become one of the premier cactus and succulent gardens in the world. It also features other plants that require little rain, such as orchids, bromeliads and many mature trees.
The Na 'Aina Kai Botanical Gardens feature Eden-like surroundings of cascading waterfalls, colorful plants, gazebos, fish-filled ponds and lagoons, as well as more than 90 bronze sculptures.
